First of all, what is a Chatbot?
It is a computer program that can converse with your customers on your business website.
When a customer visits your website, a Chatbot pops up in a separate box. It might begin a conversation like this: “Hello, can I help you?”
If the customer chooses, he or she can type a question in the chat box. The question is answered using information already included on your website. The Chatbot responds with a link to a specific page on your site or a conversational response to the question, if possible.
For example, if you are a restaurant owner and the customer asks about your hours of operation, the Chatbot may give the customer a link to the “Contact Us” on your website. Or it might say, “The hours of operation for today are 12pm – 12am.”
