InfiniteWP is a self hosted open source WordPress management tool. It allows you to access your WordPress sites through one interface allowing you to backup, restore, and update your WordPress version, plugins, and themes.

Prerequisites : You must already have infinite-wp installed onto your server to complete the following steps.
First step: Connect wordpress to InfiniteWP
1.) Add the IWP plugin for wordpress from the wordpress repository:
2.) Search for “IWP” or InfiniteWP”
3.) Install and activate plugin.
4.) Copy the site info for infiniteWP
Second step: paste your site info into infiniteWP.
How to backup in infiniteWP:
Hover over “protect” and click “Backups”:
Click “Create New Backup”:
Select all websites and click “Enter Details”:
Give backup a name and click “Backup Now” (I usually leave the default settings):
That’s it! Now you can update your plugins without having to worry about the site breaking! Because if it does, then you can just restore the backup you just made!
