Is your small business missing out on new customers on social media? Here are a few things your business absolutely must include on your social media pages.
The Big Picture
Visual brand unity is just as important on your social media pages as it is on your website and storefront. At first glance, a new visitor to your page should have an idea of your business that is with your brand. That means your company should first have a vision of what you want your customers to see, feel, understand about you — and then design your social landing pages to reflect that brand.
Your Product or Service in Action
Customers should be able to easily navigate to information about your products and/or services. Be sure that what you are selling is not lost in the midst of posts, reviews, events and articles. If possible, pin the most pertinent information at the top of your feeds or pages. And, include videos or posts about what service your company offers or what your products do.
Responsiveness
Social media can be an indispensable customer service tool. This includes interacting with current happy customers that post about their experience with your product or service. It also encompasses responding to positive and negative reviews, fielding questions and responding to messages and inquiries. Be sure someone in your company is active on all of your social platforms consistently.
Easy Access
Customers should be able to figure out how to reach you at first glance. That means including contact information, other social platforms and physical locations in prominent places on your social pages.
Content
You are an expert in your field! So, a great way to make your social media outlets attractive is to offer your expertise. You can share relevant news, offer tips, post video tutorials and so much more related to your industry. It is also a great place study, read, and find out what your customers are interested in!
Keywords
Being searchable is not just a requirement for your webpage. If you have target verbiage for SEO (search engine optimization), you should utilize these terms on your socials as well.
